Method 1: Automatic Updates (Recommended) #
Step 1: Activate License #
- Go to Appearance → Rakmyat License
- Enter your ThemeForest Purchase Code
- Click Activate License
Step 2: Enable Auto Updates #
- Go to Dashboard → Updates
- Check “Automatically update themes”
- Or Appearance → Rakmyat Options → Updates → Auto Update: ON
New updates install automatically.
Method 2: Manual ThemeForest Update #
Step 1: Download Latest Version #
- Go to themeforest.net/user/rakmyat-themes
- Downloads → Your Rakmyat Theme
- Download “Install Package” (.zip)
Step 2: Update via WordPress #
- Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload Theme
- Upload new rakmyat-theme.zip
- Click Update
- Child theme safe – customizations preserved
Method 3: Child Theme Method (Advanced) #
- Keep parent theme updated normally
- Child theme files stay unchanged
- Custom code goes in child theme only

Plugin Updates #
Rakmyat Core & other plugins update separately:
- Plugins → Installed Plugins
- Click Update on each plugin
- Or use automatic plugin updates
After Update #
- Clear cache (WP Rocket, W3TC, etc.)
- Regenerate Elementor CSS: Elementor → Tools → Regenerate
- Test all pages
- Check console (F12 → Console)
