Template Builder in Rakmyat Themes lets you design and control all global layout parts of your site using Elementor, from one central place.
1. Where to access it #
- Log in to WordPress admin.
- Go to: Rakmyat Dashboard → Templates
or directly: Templates in the left menu (post typermt-template).
On this screen you see a list of all existing templates, grouped by type:
- Header
- Footer
- Mega Menu
- Popup
- Offcanvas
- Single (Single Post, Single Page, Single Product, Single Portfolio, Single Services)
- Archive (Posts Archive, Product Archive, Portfolio Archive, Services Archive)
- Page Title
- Hidden Panel
- 404 Page
- Search
You can filter by each type using the links above the list (Header, Footer, Archive, etc.).

2. What a “template” is #
Each item in this list is a layout built with Elementor that the theme uses in a specific place:
- Header templates replace the default theme header across the site.
- Footer templates replace the default footer.
- Archive templates control listing pages (blog archive, portfolio archive, services archive, shop, etc.).
- Single templates control how individual posts, pages, products, portfolio items, and services look.
- Special templates (404 Page, Search, Page Title, Offcanvas, Popup, Mega Menu) control those specific areas.
You build the layout once, and it is reused automatically wherever that type applies.
3. Creating a new template #
- On the Templates screen, click Add New Template.
- Give it a title (for example “Main Header”, “Blog Archive”, “Single Service”).
- Click Edit with Elementor and design the layout.
- Publish the template.
After publishing, use the Template Settings box (in the template edit screen):
- Template Type: choose where this template will be used (Header, Footer, Portfolio Archive, Single Services, etc.).
- Template Active: enable or disable the template without deleting it.
- Priority: if more than one template has the same type, the one with higher priority (lower number or as defined in your system) will be used first.
4. Managing existing templates #
From the main Template Builder list you can:
- Edit: change the template or open it with Elementor.
- Quick Edit: update title or status.
- Move to Trash: remove templates you no longer need.
- Filter by type or date to find specific templates.
This system gives you full control over the global structure of your site without touching code: headers, footers, archives, singles, and special pages are all managed from the Template Builder.
