Product Archive

2 min read

  • Product Archive Template
    • Select Default to use the theme’s built‑in WooCommerce shop layout.
    • Select a custom Elementor template (created in Templates → Theme Builder → Archive / Product Archive) to fully control the design of the shop and product archive pages (categories, tags, etc.).
    • The chosen template will be applied to the main Shop page and other product archive views, depending on how your theme handles WooCommerce archives.

Sidebar #

  • Sidebar
    • Left – display the sidebar on the left side of the product grid (great for filters and categories).
    • Right – display the sidebar on the right side.
    • Disable – use a full‑width layout with no sidebar so products span the entire content area.

Use this to match your shop layout with your design and filtering strategy (e.g., left sidebar for classic e‑commerce filtering).

Product Image Size #

  • Product Image Size
    • Enter an image size handle (e.g. thumbnail, medium, large, full) or a custom size like 370x300.
    • This controls the image size used for product thumbnails on the shop and product archive pages, affecting clarity and performance.

For best results, use a consistent aspect ratio for all product images and regenerate thumbnails after changing sizes.

Products Per Row #

  • Products Per Row
    • Set how many products appear in each row of the product grid (for example 3, 4, or 5).
    • More products per row = denser grid; fewer per row = larger product cards and more focus on each item.

Adjust this based on your design width and how visual you want each product to appear.

Products Per Page #

  • Products Per Page
    • Controls the maximum number of products displayed on each archive page before pagination (e.g. 9, 12, 16, 24).
    • Higher values reduce pagination clicks but can make pages longer; lower values keep pages shorter and often faster to scan.

Use a balanced number (like 9–16) so pages load quickly while still showing enough products to browse comfortably
